I have to say the 247 model is a winner in my books. Over the last few years NB has been a bit miss and hit when it comes to integrating new tech into classic silhouettes but they got it right this time, really right. The combination of simple details, sharp shape, comfort and sock like fit makes it a killer model. The F&F pairs is top for me closely followed by the luxe releases but these are not far behind if not equal, I like that the opted for the same tongue design on these as the luxe pairs.
In a market saturated with collabs, new releases and an insatiable appetite for boost its no small feat that the luxe pairs sold out and these are close to following suite. Props to the designers on creating a classic, the response speaks for itself.
Thats enough from me check out the pics below.

For a long time I have admired the Horween iterations of the 998, 996 and 1400s coming out and I finally got my hands on a pair. In my opinion these along with the M1300BER are the best ones yet, I haven't seen the other in person but from having these in hand its hard to imagine a better pair, the Navy is definitely a winner and the combination of red leather liner finishes it off beautifully. Grab yourself a pair from Fabric now! Retail price is NZ$700 and they only got in 7 pairs.
The 1300CL is simply classic, a pair I had been looking for and then suddenly popped up on a local auction website called Trade Me. In perfect condition too but without the box, you cant have it all though. Would love to have a vintage pair with the leather lining, dreams are free.
There weren't many pairs of 1300s Made in England but the Flimby Pack is the cream of the crop, I am fortunate enough to have two of the three pairs. Both pairs are simply amazing and that is not an exaggeration. I really like both pairs and they are some of my favourite pairs in my collection. The shade of blue on this pair is something I haven't seen on another pair but it works so well.
Apologise I am getting a bit behind on days, the project was a bit more demanding than anticipated. Day 8 bring another pair from the National Parks pack, this pair really surprised me as I didn't like it at first. I was offered them at a great price and couldn't refuse but after having them in hand I loved them. I find the colour blocking really unique but it really works especially combined with the pops of blue.
It was late 2014 when I herd rumours online that these would be releasing early 2015, it then became top of my list for the year, I decided to make sure I had funds when the released. Release date came and I had become distracted with other "steals" that I couldn't resist and didn't have the funds for them let alone the $300 retail price I think it was. Resale prices on eBay went crazy and I have been patiently waiting for them at the right price, another Team NB member came through with a great deal and I was stoked to get them, thanks Lee. Now the search continues for an older pair.
As you can tell by these and the previous two I am a bit of a fan of teal, these M1300NW from the 2014 National Parks pack are bangers along with the rest of the 1300s from that pack. Enjoy.
Day 4 is perhaps one of the most famous and desired 1300s the M1300AR2 one of three pairs from the New Balance collaboration with Alife Rivington Club (ARC). I was at the first Loaded swap meet several years ago when a guy came up to me asking if I was interested in buying them from him, I did not but them on the spot but got his number. I ended up buying them about a week later for half retail which was a steal, I actually didn't have much of an idea back then of how valuable and hard to come by they are, now they are one of the gems in my collection. Still trying to track down the AR1 and AR3 for a good price.
Day 3 brings another 2014 release, this time is 1 of 2 Cone Mills Denim pairs the M1300DC. These were another pair I bought from Justin and I have the M1300DC arriving from South Africa in the next month unfortunately not in time for one of the 13 Days. Their arrival will complete my collection of the 2014 releases and with only the JP2 releasing last year I will be working backwards as well as trying to get this years releases. Enjoy.
